Position Responsibilities

- Design and Implementation of SAP Finance Solutions – 40%
- Design and implement comprehensive solutions for SAP Finance modules, including rollouts and enhancements.
- Ensure operational efficiency and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Testing, Optimization, Reporting, and Compliance – 20%
- Ensure Testing-Quality Assurance, Process Optimization-Automation, Reporting-Analytics, and Governance-Compliance.
- Delivery of WRICEF and Cross-Functional Integration – 20%
- Proficiency in delivering WRICEF objects, ensuring seamless cross-functional integration and efficient integration with external systems for streamlined business processes.
- Leadership and Team Management – 20%
- Lead and manage the team, ensuring high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship to team members, fostering their growth, skill development, and seamless integration.
Organizational Relationships
This role involves interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders :
Interact with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements, understand business processes, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Participate in project planning activities, risk assessment, and SAP project scheduling.Collaborate with external vendors and partners providing software or services integrated with SAP systems.Work with implementation partners for deployment, configuration, or maintenance within the Zoetis IT landscape.Coordinate with developers and development teams to implement solutions and address technical challenges.Education and Experience
Education (Required) :
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a professional qualification (Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant).Experience (Required) :
12+ years of relevant SAP Finance and domain experience.Hands-on experience with S / 4HANA implementation.Preferred experience in the Life Sciences / Pharmaceuticals industry.Proven expertise in Implementation, Migration, Upgrade, and Production Support projects.Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting (FI), Tax, Statutory Reporting, Revenue Recognition, and Integration with SAP modules and external systems.Working knowledge of Controlling and FSCM modules.Experience conducting Business Process Workshops and Fit / Gap Analysis.Proficient in identifying and managing RICEFW objects.Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach.Practical experience with testing methodologies, incident / change management tools, and project documentation tools.Experience with international projects and a variety of IT practices including project management and service delivery.Technical Skills Requirements
Expertise in solution design and configuration of the following SAP Finance modules :General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Payable, Asset Accounting, Bank AccountingIntercompany transactions and reconciliationsKnowledge and exposure to SAP Controlling :Cost Element and Cost Center AccountingProfit Center and Profitability AccountingProduction Costing and Material LedgerExperience with edge systems and processes :Advanced Financial Closing (AFC), Consolidation (OneStream)E-accounting, E-Invoicing (DRC)External Tax Engines (Vertex, One Source), Transfer PricingLease and Service ManagementHands-on experience with FICO User Exits, BAPIs, Function Modules, and directing ABAP developers.Physical Position Requirements
Regular working hours are from 3 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM EST (ICC Second Shift) .Additional overlap with EST time zone may be required during production go-live.Flexibility in working hours may be needed for key project milestones.Skills Required
