Content Lead

Gurugram, Haryana

Reports to Head of Growth

We're hiring a hands-on Content Lead to own content strategy and delivery for cohort launches and evergreen funnels. This is a benchmarking role that is equally strategic and executional : you'll set standards, mentor writers, and personally ship high-priority landing pages, webinar scripts, email sequences and ad copy that convert. You'll work closely with Growth, Product and Instructors to turn technical subject matter into clear, outcome-driven messaging.

What you'll own

  • Define and run content strategy for cohort launches and evergreen funnels (landing pages, hero copy, syllabus, webinar scripts, 3-email nurture flows, ads, alumni stories).
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of copy / content writers; set editorial standards and QA processes.
  • Ship priority assets yourself when speed or quality demands it.
  • Translate instructor and product inputs into learner-first messaging focused on career outcomes (roles, salary uplift, placements).
  • Run copy + creative A / B tests and use GA4 / Hotjar / email metrics to iterate and improve conversion and retention.
  • Maintain the content calendar, manage briefs, and ensure on-time launches for cohort intakes.
  • Direct Content Creation : Take ownership of key projects, often creating content directly to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained, especially in high-pressure situations. Canva should be on the tip of your fingers in case of urgent presentations or campaign deployments.
  • Campaign Strategy & Development : Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop campaign strategies that align with client objectives, translating insights into compelling copy for various formats (web, social, email, etc.).
  • Client Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for content-related discussions, ensuring client needs are met and expectations are managed. We've partnered with affiliates (influencers, corporates, individual brands) and need people who understand and design narrative accordingly.
  • Quality Control & Accountability : Oversee the consistency, accuracy, and relevance of all content, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and Saras' legacy.
  • Data-Driven Optimization : Analyze content performance and make data-driven recommendations for future strategies, constantly refining and improving content impact (ALL content marketing verticals)

What success looks like (first 6 months)

  • Measurable uplift in landing page conversion rate and webinar→signup conversion.
  • A repeatable launch comms playbook owned by the content team.
  • Faster turnaround on high-priority assets and demonstrable quality improvements across deliverables.
  • A team running with clear standards and accountability.
  • Must-have (non-negotiable)

  • 4–6 years in content or copywriting (agency, edtech, SaaS or freelance with demonstrable outcomes).
  • Master's degree is mandatory.
  • Portfolio required : minimum 8 published pieces across formats (Master's thesis can be considered as well), including a landing page or conversion campaign, email sequences, and a long-form article / case study / social media. (Applications without a portfolio will be asked to complete an assignment) Please note : we sell courses to train students in AI. Please don't give us ChatGPT literature; we can smell it from a mile away.
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring writers (min. 2 direct reports or a managed roster of freelancers).
  • Strong command of English, impeccable editing, and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Direct experience writing conversion-focused copy for landing pages, webinar funnels or cohort launches — include metrics.
  • Comfortable reading and acting on analytics (GA4 preferred) and using session insights to improve copy.
  • Familiarity with CMS / LMS publishing (WordPress / Thinkific / Teachable or similar) and email platforms (Klaviyo / Mailchimp).
  • ools & skills we expect

    GA4 / Google Analytics, Hotjar (or equivalent), WordPress / LMS, Ahrefs / SEMrush, Notion / Asana (content calendar), Canva / Figma (quick mockups), Looker Studio (basic reporting), Grammarly / editorial tools, basic HTML for emails.

    Nice to have

  • Experience writing for AI / tech or working with technical SMEs.
  • Cohort marketing experience (webinar → nurture → convert).
  • LinkedIn thought-leadership or byline placement experience.
