Node.js Developer - Express.js

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js, Express, and related frameworks.
• Build and maintain scalable, serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS services.
• Implement JWT token-based authentication and enforce secure access control mechanisms across APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Identify, assess, and implement application security best practices; patch and resolve vulnerabilities as required.
• Enhance and maintain application logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Follow best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge-sharing, and support continuous improvement Skills & Qualifications :
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration using Express.js.
• Strong understanding of JWT authentication, session management, and access control implementations.
• Experience with AWS services, especially Lambda Functions and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
• Experience with application logging tools and observability systems.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform efficient debugging and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
