What you become a part of :

The incumbent will lead the global analytics function for a multi-country organization into Pharma, Consumer Healthcare and Diagnostics, driving data-driven decision-making across commercial, finance, supply chain, and corporate functions.

The role holder will be responsible for building and executing the analytics strategy, leveraging advanced technologies and methodologies to deliver actionable insights that enhance business performance and patient outcomes.

She / He will champion initiatives that drive business impact and long-term competitive advantage by using the existent and new data sources, techniques and technology.

What to expect :

Leadership and Strategy :

  • Lead and manage a team of data warehouse leads and PowerBI developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize a disciplined project management approach to scope, plan, and execute key projects resulting in high quality, results oriented, and on-time outcomes.
  • Define and drive consistency in reporting across all business units to measure performance and support strategic decision making.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate / present the implications of analyses and the execution plan to senior leaders to answer business critical questions.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify high-impact analytics opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Advanced Analytics :

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including GenAI, to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support decision-making in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with the business / functional users across multiple countries to understand, address & present solutions to meet business priorities
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics tools and dashboards for business stakeholders.
  • Data Management :

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data used for analytics.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data integration across various sources.
  • GenAI Implementation :

  • Lead initiatives to incorporate GenAI technologies into analytics, exploring new use cases and applications.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in GenAI and evaluate their potential impact on the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Vendor and Partnership Management :

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners providing analytics services.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance the capabilities of the analytics function.
  • Essential qualifications & experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
  • 12 – 15 years of progressive experience working in a fast-paced and complex business setting, minimum 5 years in pharma / healthcare industry.
  • Desired skills & attributes :

  • Strong expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including experience with GenAI technologies.
  • Strong technical background; exposure to visual analytics (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), advanced analytics applications (R, SAS, Python etc.), relevant GenAI platforms and data mining / ML analytics techniques is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage full project lifecycle including scoping, design, development, testing, and deployment.
