Position Overview

In this role, you will provide hands-on software engineering and system architecture leadership Be on the cutting edge of the advancing industry practice of site reliability engineering with the opportunity to work with a team of passionate IT engineers. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 11 years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) operational effectiveness team.

Responsibilities

• This is a development role that will be utilizing Python for automation opportunities to remove any manual effort. This role also has a product support component for new code the candidate has implemented as well as for existing code.
• Perform root cause failure analysis for production system and provide short / long term resolution.
• Work with business partners to resolve defects identified in a timely manner.
• Understand the requirements and use cases provided.
• Enable the self-healing capabilities to reduce the human interference, user impact and to increase the availability.
• Partner with other teams and stakeholders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
• Experienced with agile methodology.
