We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering Advisor with expertise in Teradata , batch processing , and SQL Server and Unix Scripting and COBOL .The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production systems, ensuring high availability and performance of critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support production systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teradata database queries, batch jobs, and application performance.
• Execute and monitor batch processes, ensuring timely completion of critical jobs.
• Analyse and resolve failures in SQL Server processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
• Create and maintain documentation for production support processes and incident resolution.
• Provide on-call support for critical production systems as part of a rotation schedule.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding system status, incidents, and resolutions.
