About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead bepay’s full technology stack spanning mobile apps, backend systems, blockchain modules, security, and global payment rails. The CTO will define the technical roadmap for self-custody wallets, cross-border settlements, multi-rail payments, tokenization systems, merchant tools, and hyper-scalable cloud infrastructure.

This role requires deep engineering expertise, product intuition, and the ability to build secure, compliant, high-performance systems that operate across traditional finance and decentralized networks.

Ideal experience : 12+ years in engineering with 7 + years in senior leadership roles building fintech, payments, or Web3 infrastructure.

What You’ll Work On

• Own bepay’s end-to-end technology vision, engineering roadmap, and long-term architecture
• Build scalable systems powering self-custody wallets, multi-chain access, stablecoin rails, and global payments.
• Architect a global payment layer supporting high-volume transactions with millisecond latency
• Architecting microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems for high-volume, low-latency transactions
• Overseeing cloud infrastructure, reliability engineering, observability, and uptime
• Ensuring best-in-class security for wallets, KYC / AML flows, API layers, and user data
• Working closely with product and compliance teams to ship secure, compliant, high-performance features
• Implementing strong engineering processes, code standards, QA, automation, and CI / CD workflows
• Evaluating and integrating new blockchain networks, L2 solutions, tokenization modules, and AI systems
• Hire, grow, and mentor teams across backend, blockchain, mobile, AI, DevOps, security, and QA
• Implement world-class engineering culture, development standards, and code quality practices
• Lead cross-functional execution with product, compliance, UX, and business teams
• Oversee compliance-driven builds aligned with global fintech regulations
