Role Overview
The Copy Lead will serve as the architect of brand messaging, responsible for creating persuasive and emotionally resonant content that aligns with client objectives. This role combines creativity with strategic acumen, requiring strong leadership to guide a team of copywriters while maintaining excellence in content delivery.
Key Direction & Ideation
- Drive ideation and lead brainstorming sessions to conceptualize impactful campaign narratives.
- Collaborate with creative, design, and strategy teams to align copy with business goals and brand positioning.
- Translate client briefs into compelling communication strategies that engage target audiences.
Content Creation & Quality Excellence
Craft high-quality, engaging copy across digital, print, and experiential platforms including campaigns, websites, blogs, social media, and ads.Edit, refine, and elevate copy to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to brand voice.Maintain rigorous quality standards, ensuring copy is error-free, persuasive, and strategically aligned.Client Engagement & Thought Partnership
Partner with clients as a trusted advisor on brand messaging and content strategy.Lead presentations and pitch sessions, showcasing creative thinking and persuasive storytelling.Manage client feedback effectively, ensuring solutions are aligned with brand objectives and delivered within deadlines.Team Leadership & Development

6+ years of professional experience in copywriting, content creation, or brand storytelling within advertising, media, or digital marketing.Proven track record of leading a creative team and delivering high-impact campaigns.Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a portfolio demonstrating versatility across formats and industries.Strong strategic thinkingability to balance creativity with measurable business outcomes.Adept at client management and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.Deep understanding of digital platforms, social media trends, and pop culture.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.Professional certifications in content strategy, brand storytelling, or advertising are highly desirable.(ref : iimjobs.com)
