L&T - Senior Cloud & AI Sales Specialist / Manager

Job Purpose :

We are seeking a motivated and seasoned Senior Sales Specialist with a strong background in cloud computing and artificial intelligence solutions. This role involves identifying strategic business opportunities, managing large sales pipelines, closing high-value deals, and fostering long-term client relationships with enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding of cloud and AI platforms with excellent communication and negotiation skills to tailor solutions that fit client needs and market trends.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Cloud Sales Specialists are primarily responsible for selling cloud services and solutions to clients.

2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting cloud computing and AI-driven solution markets.

3. Identify, qualify, and engage potential enterprise clients in various industries to promote cloud and AI products and services.

4. Pitch and sell cloud services and solutions to prospective and existing clients; Develop and manage a sales pipeline and forecast business opportunities

5. Provide technical presentations and demonstrations of cloud-based solutions; Work closely with the technical team to design and implement cloud-based solutions tailored to the clients' needs

6. Negotiate and close sales deals in a timely and efficient manner

7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape and market trends

8. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and set individual sales goals

9. Collaborate closely with solution architects and technical teams to develop customized 10. proposals and ensure successful implementation.

11. Maintain deep industry and competitor knowledge to refine sales strategies and advise product development teams.

12. Build and sustain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

13. Track sales metrics, manage CRM pipelines, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : (degree, training, or certification required) :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE : (no. of years of technical, functional, and / or leadership experience or specific exposure required)

1. 10-12 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within cloud computing and / or AI-driven solution environments.

2. Strong understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and AI technologies (machine learning, natural language processing, automation).

3. Excellent consultative sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex enterprise deals.

4. Experience in managing long sales cycles and developing large-scale sales pipelines.

5. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

6. Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and AI-related credentials are highly advantageous.

7. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
