Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for an Agency Manager. The Agency Manager will oversee recruitment and development of a high-performing sales team, ensuring achievement of sales targets within the assigned territory. Key responsibilities include driving agency productivity, managing the day-to-day operations of the sales channel, maintaining relationships with partners, and providing ongoing support and training to team members. The role involves identifying market opportunities and implementing strategies to grow business in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in team management, leadership, and team-building strategies, with an ability to inspire and mentor others.
• Proficiency in sales planning, channel management, and target-oriented approaches to achieve business goals.
• Strong relationship management, customer engagement, and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify market opportunities and devise strategic solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in insurance or financial services is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Kolkata market and fluency in local languages are advantageous.
