Security Director

The Director, Security is a senior cybersecurity leader responsible for HQ security operations and serving as part of a global team of security experts that provides advisory services to Banyan's 95+ (and growing) OpCos worldwide. Each Director focuses on a region , while collaborating across divisions to ensure consistent risk management, scalable frameworks, and portfolio-wide visibility.

This role combines hands-on cybersecurity leadership at HQ with incident response coordination and advisory engagement across the portfolio , helping OpCos strengthen their posture while respecting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

Core Security Functions (HQ Ownership)

• Identity & Access Management : Oversee IAM strategy and operations (Okta SSO, MFA, conditional access, lifecycle governance).
• Endpoint & Asset Security : Ensure managed devices meet Banyan's zero-trust standards (EDR / XDR, encryption, patching).
• Monitoring & Detection : Manage logging, SIEM / MDR integration, and threat detection for HQ systems.
• Vulnerability Management : Establish scanning, remediation, and reporting processes for HQ infrastructure and SaaS tools.
• Data Protection & Governance : Partner with IT to enforce DLP, backup, and data classification policies.
