Position Overview

The Metal Fabrication / Sheet Metal Design Engineer will be responsible for leading end-to-end design, development, and fabrication of sheet metal components, assemblies, and structures. The role demands strong technical expertise in sheet metal engineering, advanced CAD proficiency, fabrication processes, and cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, vendors, and R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Lead design of sheet metal components, enclosures, frames, brackets, and assemblies.
• Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and specifications.
• Perform sheet metal design calculations.
• Drive DFM, DFA, DFS for manufacturability and cost optimization.
