About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and scale robust backend systems and APIs. You will be responsible for building high-performance backend services, data pipelines, and API integrations, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and maintainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python (3.7+) and FastAPI.
• Implement asynchronous processing, background tasks, and dependency injection within FastAPI.

Integrate OpenAPI / Swagger documentation for all backend endpoints.

Set up CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience building scalable backend services using FastAPI.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Have

Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS).

Experience with security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting).
