Youll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Release Manager, you will oversee planning, scheduling, communication, and coordination of our industry-leading SaaS platforms and applications. You will be pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of software to our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage expectations, measure results, and improve processes.
THE OPPORTUNITY :
- Plan and coordinate releases to established timelines across multiple product teams
- Organize and facilitate structured communications throughout the release lifecycle
- Continuously improve release processes based on lessons learned and best practices
- Ensure the definition of done is clearly published and tracked
- Drive communication and treatment of risks
- Identify and drive resolution of dependencies across separate products
- Other duties as assigned.
THE SKILL SET :
Prefer a Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, business, Management Information Systems or related field2+ years of experience in software release program management, and 5+ years of total experience in software development preferably SaaS.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build trusted partnerships with executives and product teamsStrong working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and software quality attributesExperience with Agile methodologiesKnowledge of Project Management Software Tools such as JiraTravel requirement is up to 10%Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyDesirable certifications include those from PMI, Scaled Agile, Scrum Alliance.Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their deployment modelsThe Benefits :
