Job description

Good understanding of RDBMS concepts

Proactively maintain the overall health of all databases

Experience in Oracle, Data Guard and RMAN

Experience in SQL / PL / SQL.

Ability to apply software maintenance upgrades (including security patches) and fixes.

Monitoring backups of the database on a regular basis and work with backup team.

User management and space management at database and server level.

Monitoring oracle physical standby and replicas and rebuild / re-sync if necessary.

Ability to perform Code Deployments.

Having experience in AWS cloud – Optional

Expertise in managing databases in a cloud environment, preferable RDS. – Optional

Hands-on experience in AWS Lambda / Cloud formation / Service catalog - Optional

Having good experience in administrating PostgreSQL or MySQL - Optional

Increase Security and enhance Compliance in AWS- Optional

Experience in Unix shell / Python scripting.- Optional (intermediate)

Check for the database long running queries and provide recommendations - Optional

Experience - 1 to 3 years
