The Counsellor cum Administrator is responsible for providing counseling support to clients or students while also managing administrative duties to ensure efficient office operations. This dual role requires strong interpersonal skills to assist individuals with their personal, academic, or career challenges, as well as organizational skills to handle administrative tasks effectively. The candidate will act as a point of contact between the organization and its stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling sessions to individuals or groups, addressing personal, academic, or career-related issues.
- Assess client needs and develop appropriate counseling plans or referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and client information.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and counseling activities.
- Manage daily administrative tasks including filing, data entry, correspondence, and documentation.
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and events related to counseling and administration.
- Support communication between clients, staff, and external agencies.
- Handle office management duties such as inventory, procurement, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support counseling and administrative functions.
