We are seeking a highly creative and experienced UI / UX Designer who is passionate about designing delightful, meaningful, and intuitive experiences for children.
In this role, youll craft engaging digital products that inspire learning, curiosity, and creativity. You will lead the design process from concept to final implementation merging aesthetic excellence with deep empathy for child users and their developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and concept ideation to prototyping and final design delivery.Partner with product managers, educators, and developers to define user needs and translate them into engaging, age-appropriate experiences.Establish a strong design vision and ensure consistent user experience across all touchpoints of the product.Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluationsspecifically focused on childrens learning behaviors and cognitive patterns.Translate research insights into user journeys, storyboards, and experience maps.Balance the needs of children, parents, and educators in multi-user design contexts.Design visually compelling, emotionally resonant, and playful interfaces that are developmentally suitable for children.Create detailed UI elements, iconography, animations, and motion interactions that engage kids and make learning fun.Ensure accessibility, clarity, and simplicity in every interaction, with attention to color theory, contrast, and typography suited for young audiences.Develop interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and engineers.Build and maintain a scalable Design System to ensure design consistency, efficiency, and reusability.Collaborate with development teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and alignment with design intent.Guide junior designers through critiques, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Learning Science, and Marketing) to deliver cohesive, research-driven design outcomes.Contribute to the evolution of design culture, tools, and best practices within the organization.Required Skills & Qualifications :
