Purchasing Assistant

Company Description Jaipuria Silk Mills Pvt Ltd is a 100% EOU, based in Attibele, Bengaluru Rural. We are into weaving and embroidery of fabrics for home furnishings.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Purchasing Assistant, located in Bangalore Rural. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the procurement team in managing purchasing processes, preparing and tracking purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining accurate records. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with procurement planning to meet organizational needs.

Would need to have basic knowledge of Tally and also Excel and must be reasonably fluent in English.

This person would also be required to enter and assist the production department in maintaining daily and monthly production details.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and general Purchasing practices.

Experience in Procurement and supplier coordination.

Effective Communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.

Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in using procurement or inventory management software is a plus.

Relevant work experience or education in business administration, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
