Engineering Geologist

Stantec has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Geologist to join our Pune Team on a permanent basis. This role will be involved in carrying out geological mapping, field investigations, construction inspections and supervision on a wide geological engineering projects across the APAC region including Philippines and Papua New Guinea.
Essential Functions
- Assisting senior staff on geotechnical projects
- Field investigation work often remote
- Geological mapping of project land
- Analysis of rock mechanic test results
- Soil, surface, and groundwater sampling
- Logging of core and subsurface conditions
- Construction inspections and supervision
- Proposal and report writing
