Based at our Junior School Campus, located at Norwood and teaching students across Reception to Year 6, the below contract teaching roles are available for 2026. Specifically, we are looking to fill the following replacement Junior School Teacher positions :

  • Fulltime Classroom Teacher (2026 replacement)
  • Part-time Classroom Teacher at 0.4-0.6 FTE (2026 replacement)

Key responsibilities :

  • Undertake the duties relating to the teaching of mixed ability classes.
  • Be on the creative edge of developments in education and curriculum.
  • Be proactive regarding educational initiatives within curriculum area.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the workings of the Australian Curriculum and its application to the designated subject area.
  • Enhance students’ learning with a variety of methodologies.
  • Provide students with positive feedback on performance that reinforces student achievement and focuses on improvement.
  • Be able to work with our Learning Management System, SEQTA.
  • The successful candidate will :

  • The successful applicant must be an engaging educator who prides themselves on being an effective communicator who can build meaningful relationships with students, peers, and parents.
  • Be a current registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA).
  • Have academic qualifications in the appropriate subject area.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), and complete Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training.
  • Have a current Working with Children Check.
  • Support and attend College activities as required.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work practices and management strategies.
  • Have an affinity with, and preparedness to support the Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism of the College.
