Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Finance & Compliance Associate to support the Legal & Finance Controller. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with Indian statutory compliances finance operations reconciliations filings and day-to-day accounting support as well as providing exposure to Dubai operations (Zoho Books). This is a demanding role requiring accuracy strong software skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliances (India)
- Preparation and filing of TDS EPF Professional Tax returns.
- Assisting with GST return compilation and reconciliations.
- Ensuring timely MCA filings and compliance with the Companies Act.
- Maintaining compliance calendar and ensuring all statutory deadlines are met.
Accounting & Finance
Compilation and maintenance of accounts.Preparation and reconciliation of Profit & Loss statements.Vendor payment management ensuring timely disbursement of payments maintaining vendor ledgers and reconciling balances.Client payment follow-ups coordinating with clients for timely collections preparing ageing reports and maintaining receipt trackers.Invoice generation freelancer payment tracking.Monitoring receipts and reconciling bank statements.Month-end and year-end closing support.Software & Systems
Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (India & Dubai entities).Managing software subscriptions and renewal tracking.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).Compliance & Audit Support
Preparation of data for internal and statutory audits.Conducting reconciliations (TDS GST EPF vendor accounts).Maintaining proper documentation for compliance and audit trail.General Support
Preparing MIS reports for management review.Coordinating with vendors freelancers and consultants.Supporting finance controller in high-volume transactions and deadlines.Preferred Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) / Semi-qualified CA / CMA / MBA Finance.Min. 3 years of relevant work experience.Excellent knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliances.Prior experience with MCA filings and Zoho Books (mandatory).Strong analytical numerical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle large datasets.High level of integrity responsibility and attention to detail.Additional Desirable Skills
Knowledge of UAE VAT and compliance (for Dubai operations).Experience in drafting / reviewing basic agreements contracts and compliance documents.Familiarity with payroll processing and employee compliance.Good communication skills to coordinate with auditors consultants internal teams and clientsKey Skills
