SBI General Insurance, established in 2009, has grown significantly, expanding from 17 branches in 2011 to over 170 branches across India. We have served over 10 crore customers through our vast network, which includes Bancassurance, Agency, Broking, Retail Direct Channels, and Digital partnerships. With over 22,000 SBI branches, agents, financial alliances, OEMs, and multiple digital partners, we ensure accessibility even in remote areas. We offer a comprehensive range of products for retail, corporate, SME, and rural customers through both digital and physical channels to meet diverse needs.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Vadodara. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining and building relationships with key clients, assessing market trends, and contributing to product development. The role involves setting sales targets, preparing reports, managing budgets, and coordinating with various internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing
  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Skilled in preparing reports and managing budgets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office
