About The Role
Pivot is seeking an Account Planning Manager with a proven track record in client interfacing and business development, preferably from leading creative or digital agencies. Excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory. The role calls for someone adept at pitching and onboarding new clients, crafting and presenting compelling proposals, retaining and growing accounts, and leading high-stakes meetings with senior client stakeholders. The ideal candidate can navigate escalations diplomatically and implement feedback quickly, driving both client satisfaction and account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client relationships, serving as the primary contact for strategic discussions, campaign oversight, feedback, and business growth opportunities
Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive account strategies aligned to client goals with a focus on retaining and expanding existing accounts
Drive business development by pitching new clients, preparing proposals, and leading client onboarding presentations
Manage multiple projects and teams, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with creative, digital, strategy, and production units
Lead client meetings, gather feedback, and drive implementation
Handle client escalations, ensuring issues are resolved with professionalism and speed
Guide and mentor junior team members
Own account profitability and resource planning, working with finance and operations to ensure effective budget management
Monitor campaign performance, prepare insightful reports, and translate data into actionable recommendations
Represent Pivot at industry events, build networks, and champion the agency’s reputation
Required Skills
Critical to have substantial agency experience
Strong social media management abilities : reporting, posting, analytics
Experience and strong interest in business development is a major plus
Prior experience in pitching, proposal creation, and client presentations
Proven client retention and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
High-level organization, detail orientation, and time management
Professional approach to handling client escalations
Collaborative leadership style and team mentoring capabilities
