Job Description :
- Plan regular visits to the meet ophthalmic surgeons include Key Opinion Leaders and decision makers directly or in association with Distributors to establish continuous healthy relationship with customers for current and future business. In-depth understanding of internal organization resources, priorities and needs, relating to the business operations, tender participation and achievement of sales plan.
- Distributor Management in the geographical area. Support dealers in their sales and marketing activities in a beneficial manner for the company.
- National Marketing activities by providing relevant information to marketing and other support departments, to contribute to effective internal business processes, and to support effective decision making and actions across the organization. Plan demo and expense utilization to optimize usage while remaining in budget and guidelines, including meeting regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Training & Education (T&E) program as per the requirement of the company.
- Also responsible of making promotion materials (brochure and other promotion goods) as per demand.
PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Implements, and manages strategic sales initiatives to meet sales plans and forecasts.Exceeds revenue targets through distributor sales and direct OEM business wherever applicable.Support distributor / channel network and provide mentoring through coaching, training.Identify go to market opportunities and execute actions that drive business growth and profitability.Anticipates risks and devises contingency plans to manage them.Product Knowledge :
The employee will be given a certain amount of product knowledge training after being hired. If the employee is calling on prospects to sell Surgical instruments (for example, Ophthalmic Knife, Trocar, IOL), they will need to be able to demonstrate the product's features and benefits effectively.
Product Product demonstrations conducted by an employee can be done using computer software, PowerPoint presentations or videos or Instrument / tools. The employee will need to have a high level of product knowledge, as well as some technical ability, to be able to effectively point out why the person they are calling on should buy the product.
Cold Part of an employees job is to find new potential customers to call on. He or she will be expected to do a certain amount of cold calling to get leads. The calls may be made by phone, or by visiting dental offices, clinics and hospitals in a certain area. A person who wants to succeed in a career in sales should be comfortable initiating contact with a prospect and skilled at overcoming objections when trying to make a sale.
Account To call on existing customers and ensure that any questions or concerns they have been dealt with appropriately. The account management portion of the job is where an employee can use his or her well-developed communication skills to forge long-term relationships with DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES :
Conduct market assessment to develop specific strategies that drive regional sales growth.Utilize effective reporting mechanisms to measure and track field performance of distributors.Conduct field visits with distributor representatives to gain a clear understanding of in market product requirements and local market drivers.Establish effective communication tools that enable distributors to provide constant feedback and visibility to progress towards set objectives.Maintain a high level of product expertise, including technical and application knowledge.Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.Prepare all required reports on a timely basis.Follow and enforce all corporate policies.SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED :

Five plus years experience in technical or medical sales with prior experience of channel management preferred.Ability to evaluate business contribution capacity as well as manage an efficient sales management organization.Excellent communication, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to tactfully, yet forcefully, deal with independent business people.JOB CONDITIONS :
