Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Engineer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in purchasing castings, stamping, bought-out items, machining parts, and plastic parts and will have 3-5 years of experience in purchase , supply chain management, preferably in a submersible pump and motor industry environment.

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement

• Purchase castings, bought-out items, machining parts, and plastic parts : Purchase materials, components, and services from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze and resolve purchasing issues : Analyze and resolve purchasing issues, including supplier disputes, quality problems, and delivery delays.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies : Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Supplier Management

Technical Expertise

Cost Savings and Quality Management

Submersible Pump Industry Knowledge (Preferably) : Having an understanding of submersible pumps and motor components, including castings, Stainless Steel, copper, winding wires, stamping, Fasteners, Bearings, Pump & Motor Casing, machining parts, Seals, plastic parts (seals and gaskets).
