The Area Manager – Sales cum Operations is responsible for driving sales growth, operational excellence, and long-term strategies to ensure consistent volume increase across multiple Auto LPG retail outlets. This role focuses on achieving monthly sales targets, maximizing profitability, optimizing resources, implementing effective marketing and promotional strategies, and ensuring high standards of customer service, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales & Revenue Management
- Monitor daily and monthly sales performance across all assigned outlets.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales growth targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Implement result-oriented marketing and promotional initiatives to boost sales.
- Business tie ups with fleet owners associations like Auto rickshaw stand, omini cars, schools, etc
2. Operations & Maintenance
Oversee smooth day-to-day operations of all assigned Auto LPG stations.Ensure adherence to preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.Monitor asset performance and maintain site cleanliness, safety, and efficiency standards.4. Manpower & People Management
Supervise, mentor, and support station staff; resolve HR and manpower-related issues.Plan staff rotations, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate shift coverage.Conduct training programs to enhance operational efficiency, safety compliance, and customer service standards.5. Customer Support service
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.Foster a customer-first culture across all stations to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.6. Local Issue & Conflict Management
Handle local disturbances and external attempts to disrupt operations professionally.Ensure staff safety, dignity, and well-being in cases of customer harassment or conflicts.Coordinate with local authorities, including police, for lawful resolution of incidents.Manage emergencies such as truck or vehicle accidents, ensuring immediate response and compliance with safety norms.7. Legal & Government Liaison
Ensure compliance with PESO regulations, licenses, and statutory requirements.Coordinate with local authorities for legal, safety, and operational documentation.8. Accounts & Coordination
Work closely with accounts for vendor payments, billing, and daily financial reconciliation.Monitor expenditures, contribute to budget planning, and optimize operational costs.9. Records and Documentations :
Maintain and keep upto date the records, as per statutory compliance.Key Competencies & Skills :

Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).Proven experience in sales, operations, or retail management, preferably in LPG or fuel retail sector.Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site operations, teams, and vendors efficiently.Age below 35 yrs, and male candidates preferred.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
