Technical Business Analyst

Job descriptionGather, validate, and document business and technical requirements from cross-functional teams Collaborate with Product Owners to break down Epics / Features into detailed User Stories Write comprehensive BRDs / FRDs, workflows, and use cases Own and maintain mapping documents, data dictionaries, and interface specs Understand backend processes like data ingestion, OCR, NLP / NLU transformation, and routing logic Lead impact assessments when changes are made to upstream or downstream systems Define acceptance criteria, edge cases, and negative test scenarios Assist QA teams in test planning and validating feature behavior Participate in UAT with end users and triage feedback in collaboration with Product Owners Facilitate grooming and technical walkthroughs with Engineering, QA, and DevOps Act as a bridge between business & tech teams, ensuring alignment throughout delivery Support implementation planning, documentation handoff, and post-release support Accuracy & clarity of requirements (rework / clarification rate % of test cases directly mapped to acceptance criteria Story delivery velocity (based on estimation accuracy and backlog readiness) Stakeholder satisfaction (Ops, Product, QA, Eng) Requirement coverage of edge cases, exceptions, and regulatory compliance Experience in NLP / NLU model workflows and AI output validation Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA) Exposure to chart review, CCD / CCDA parsing, or provider-facing workflows Certification : CBAP / PMI-PBA / SAFE BA / Agile BA / HL7 FHIR Foundation Ability to read / analyze clinical data , ICD-10, HL7 / FHIR, or related data standards You’re analytically rigorous , yet practical with MVP-first thinking You translate ambiguity into clarity, assumptions into logic You see yourself as a co-owner of the delivery , not just a requirement gatherer You’re passionate about improving healthcare through structured, scalable solutions Traditional & Digital Medical Record Retrieval Risk Adjustment Coding (CMS-HCC, ACA) HEDIS Abstraction Suspect Analytics & Gap Closure Provider-Side Concurrent Coding (Billing & Documentation) Health Assessments (In-home, Virtual) Total Experience : - Relevant Experience : - Current Designation : - Current CTC : - Expected CTC : - Notice Period : - Current Location : -
Job Title : Technical Business Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (BA) with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and systems — especially in the context of Digital & Manual Retrieval or HEDIS . This role bridges the gap between Product, Engineering, Clinical SMEs, and Operations by translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications. You will play a key role in shaping system behavior, ensuring delivery quality, and aligning solutions to end-user workflows.
Required Qualifications :
- 4–8 years of experience as a BA, in US healthcare IT , clinical data, or payer-side products
- Strong understanding of Chart Retrieval processes, or HEDIS abstraction workflows
- Proficient in tools like Azure DevOps / Jira, Lucidchart / Visio, SQL (basic queries), Confluence
- Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum environment (certification must)
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder alignment skills
