Appen -Senior Atlassian Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Atlassian Engineer to be the enterprise owner and subject-matter expert for our Atlassian ecosystem.

This role is responsible for the administration, architecture, and strategic enablement of Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence.

The Senior Atlassian Engineer will partner with Product and Engineering, Service Desk, Business Solutions, and other functions across the organization to ensure Atlassian tools are optimized for project delivery, IT service management, and knowledge sharing at scale.

Key Responsibilities Platform Ownership :

• Lead the configuration, customization, and scaling of Jira, JSM, and Confluence.
• Design and maintain custom workflows, permission schemes, automation rules, and reporting.
• Implement governance, security, and compliance best practices across the Atlassian platform.
• Drive adoption of Atlassian best practices across the business.
