Senior.Net Developer - C# / ASP

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong hands-on expertise in legacy versions of the .NET framework. This is a deployment-critical role that requires immediate onboarding. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience in developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise-grade applications using older .NET technologies.

You will be working onsite (5 days a week) at our Perungalathur, Chennai location, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of key project Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using legacy versions of the .NET framework.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Work closely with architects and team leads to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues related to legacy codebases.
• Ensure high-performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with team members to follow coding standards, best practices, and ensure code quality.
• Provide support in deployment activities and immediate post-deployment Skills & Experience :
• 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in .NET development.
• Strong command over older versions of the .NET framework (e.g., .NET Framework 2.0 to 4.5).
• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms or Web Forms.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Experience working with SQL Server and writing complex stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as TFS or SVN.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal to Have :
• Experience with migration projects from older .NET frameworks to newer platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment tools
