Role Overview :
As a Business Development Trainee , you will support the growth of our SaaS product by identifying new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and helping close deals. You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to learn the ropes of SaaS sales and contribute directly to revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and industry trends
- Generate and qualify leads via cold outreach, email campaigns, and LinkedIn
- Schedule product demos for Business Development Executives and Account Managers
- Maintain and update CRM tools with accurate lead and contact data
- Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials
- Gather feedback from prospects to improve outreach strategies and product positioning
- Attend training sessions to understand the product, market, and best sales practices
- Collaborate with marketing to align on messaging and campaigns
Requirements :
