Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Aboriginal Health Nurse to join the Victorian Virtual Specialist Consult team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses :

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role :

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our rapidly expanding Virtual Services division at Northern Health.

This role sits within our Victorian Virtual Specialist Consult (VVSC) team, and will support access to appointments, help understand treatment plans, and coordinate follow up care advocacy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

To be successful in this role you will :

Identified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander position. NB applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by Section 14d of the New South Wales Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 Special measures section.

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Clinical experience with virtual health service
