Clario is seeking an experienced Manager, Pricing & Proposals based in India to lead a high-performing team supporting global clinical trial sponsors. What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for leading Clarios Pricing & Proposals team in India, ensuring high-quality deliverables, process excellence, and strategic collaboration across departments.
Direct supervision of the team, including task management, performance auditing, and escalation supportLead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team membersAssign and distribute work effectively across the teamCollaborate with the Director, Pricing & Proposals to set and monitor annual goals and metricsReview proposals, pricing, Statements of Service (SOS), and Change Orders for accuracy and alignment with financial targetsCoordinate with Legal and support client negotiations as neededPartner with Strategic Pricing to implement client-specific pricing strategies (rate cards, discount schemes)Lead pricing strategy discussions for large or complex programsEnsure compliance with pricing and discount controlsDrive operational efficiencies and process improvements across the teamMaintain high data integrity in CRM systems and manage monthly reporting metricsDevelop and maintain departmental work instructions and templatesProvide interdepartmental training and support on proposal tools and processesSupport initiatives related to proposal management tools and content maintenanceWhat we look for :
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred8+ years of experience in Pricing & Proposals within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry3+ years of direct people management experienceExpert knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical industry practices and terminologyAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Expert-level experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systemsExperience with proposal / content management tools is a plusStrong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA proactive, professional, and positive attitudeAt Clario, we put people firstalways.
