We are hiring!

Position : Key Account Manager – Modern Trade (Consumer Care Division)

Location : Hyderabad / Mumbai

Reporting To : Head – National Key Accounts

Industry : FMCG

We are looking for a results-driven sales professional with a passion for retail strategy and brand building to join our dynamic team at Hyderabad or Mumbai. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact, lead partnerships with top modern trade retailers, and play a key role in accelerating our business growth.

Your responsibilities will include :

Strategic Account Management

Build and manage long-term relationships with key retail partners.

Lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Quarterly Business Plans (QBP).

Drive new listings, negotiate Terms of Trade (TOT) agreements, and plan impactful promotions.

Sales & Commercial Excellence

Achieve secondary sales targets across your account portfolio.

Ensure timely collections, claim settlements, and reconciliations.

Optimize trade spends and track return on investment (ROI).

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure flawless execution.

Support New Product Introductions (NPIs) and in-store marketing activities.

Insights & Market Intelligence

Analyze retail data, competitor activity, and shopper trends.

Recommend assortment improvements, pricing strategies, and expansion opportunities

Process & Compliance

Maintain account-level hygiene, ensure audit readiness, and adhere to statutory norms.

Monitor stock levels; fill rates, and in-store execution standards.

What we are looking for :

5–10 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 3 years in modern trade key account management.

Proven expertise in TOT negotiations, claims management, and sales forecasting.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint; SAP knowledge is a plus.

MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management.
