Exotic India is opening its second showroom in the High Street of M G Road in Sultanpur, spread over 6000 sq ft of retail space. The showroom enjoys a premium location on the main road, and is expected to enjoy heavy footfalls at the outset.

It is targeted towards Upper Middle Class and High Net-worth individuals. Products showcased includes Home Décor, Religious and secular statuary, art paintings, and other curated hand-made objects. Prices ranges from a few hundred Rupees to several lakhs.

SYNOPSIS OF ROLE :

We are looking for a results driven retail Showroom Manager to be responsible for the overall store management. The successful candidate should be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates with a background in retail management will be given a preference.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Responsible for interaction with clients and vendors, resulting in long lasting business relationships.
  • Formulate follow-up strategies that will generate leads and achieve a high conversion rate. Strive for and facilitate increased customer engagement.
  • Manage footfalls from customer entry to checkout. Study and analyze visitors who do not convert.
  • Accountable for arranging merchandise in a manner that is both visually appealing and follows customer flow. Improve store layout and ease customer navigation.
  • Optimize store performance and maximize sales potential.
  • Maintaining customer statistics for effective footfall analysis.
  • Coordinate and host events promoting Company’s line of products.
  • Regularly conduct Competitor and market analysis for increasing footfalls and sales.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records in coordination with warehouse team. Liaise continually with corporate office for movement of inventory.
  • Coordinating and Supervising the loading & unloading of all products.
  • Manage daily operations and activities of team – Admin / Security / Sales / General.
  • Responsible for manpower forecasting, budgeting and allocation of work.
  • Recruit new staff in conjunction with HRD when required.
  • Train staff in effective sales and communication strategies.
  • Maintain the showroom in excellent condition with respect to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Documenting sales and rewarding employees for these accordingly.
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting to Management.

Who can Apply?

  • Prior experience of at least 4 years as showroom manager - preferably in Home Décor / furniture background.
  • Extensive experience selling comparable products.
  • Degree in Marketing or similar is advantageous.
  • Training and mentoring skills.
  • Having good communication skills
