Duties and Responsibilities- The IAM / PAM Consultant manages and maintains IAM and PAM systems, ensuring security and efficiency by collaborating with various teams.
Domain Expertise- IAM Fundamentals : Expertise in designing and managing identity lifecycle, authentication, and authorization (e.g., SSO, MFA).
PAM Practices : Skills in securing privileged accounts, including credential vaulting, session monitoring, and just-in-time access.
Security Tools : Proficiency with IAM / PAM solutions like SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust.
Compliance Knowledge : Understanding of regulations impacting access control (e.g., GDPR, SOX, NIST 800-53).
Technical Integration : Familiarity with directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), cloud platforms, and APIs for identity management.
Technical / Functional Skills- Expertise in managing IAM and PAM solutions, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
Strong understanding of directory services like Active Directory (AD), LDAP, and Oracle Unified Directory (OUD).
Experience with IAM / PAM solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in automation and scripting languages to streamline IAM / PAM processes.
Skills in conducting compliance checks and audits to ensure adherence to security policies and regulations.
