Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, youll be the face of Surgyy in your city or region.
This is a hybrid role a mix of remote work and on-ground client engagement. Youll connect with hospital stakeholders (CXOs, Medical Directors, IT Heads, Admins, etc.), introduce our AI-based solutions, and drive product adoption within your territory.
You will be mentored directly by our Co-Founder, Pankaj, who brings over 12 years of experience in GTM strategy and enterprise sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with hospital decision-makers via LinkedIn outreach, cold calls, and networking.
- Initiate conversations, introduce Surgyys healthcare AI products, and clearly articulate their value proposition.
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with hospital stakeholders to demonstrate product capabilities.
- Drive the entire sales funnel for your region from lead generation to deal closure.
- Manage and nurture leads received through marketing campaigns or partner referrals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hospital management teams.
- Collaborate with the central marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure client success.
- Track progress via CRM tools and deliver monthly growth reports for your region.
Who You Are
A driven and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.Comfortable reaching out to new people on LinkedIn and initiating meaningful business conversations.Skilled at both virtual engagement and in-person meetings with hospital stakeholders.Able to work independently while staying aligned with central business goals.Excited by the healthcare and AI space and eager to make an impact in a high-growth MBA / PGDM from a reputed institute (IIMs or other top-tier B-schools preferred).1-5 years of experience in B2B Sales, SaaS, or Healthcare business development.Prior experience engaging with hospitals, healthcare systems, or enterprise clients is a plus.Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.Willingness to travel locally for client meetings (Hybrid role).What Youll Get
