Job Title : Business Unit Head – BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems Manufacturing)

Location : Bhubaneswar

Department : Energy Storage Manufacturing Division

Position Overview

The BU Head – BESS Manufacturing will lead the establishment and operations of the company's Battery Energy Storage Systems manufacturing unit. The role will be responsible for setting up the plant, developing manufacturing processes, managing production, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and building a skilled workforce to meet the company's strategic growth objectives in the energy storage sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Setup & Commissioning

• Lead the end-to-end setup of the BESS manufacturing facility, including layout planning, infrastructure development, and machinery installation.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and consultants for timely commissioning.

Ensure designing & development of the BESS system including co ordinating with consultant on their view design , development & selection of component for the BESS.
