Citrix / AVD Engineer

As a Coretek EUC Support Engineer, you will be a key member of our team, providing expert support for our enterprise managed services clients. In this role, you'll ensure seamless, secure, and high-performance virtual desktop experiences while occasionally contributing to project delivery initiatives. Your work will leverage leading technologies such as Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Nerdio, and Citrix to help clients maximize the value of their end-user computing environments.

You will help Coretek clients succeed by combining deep technical expertise with a commitment to service excellence. Leveraging modern tools and practices—including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation—you'll ensure our clients' environments remain reliable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices. This role blends project-based work with operations and managed services engineering, supporting both daily incidents and long-term platform health, governance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide operational support for managed Citrix and AVD environments, including daily health checks, patching, upgrades, and incident remediation
• Administer and optimize Nerdio Manager for Enterprise and Citrix Director / Studio configurations
• Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Gateway (NetScaler), and endpoint management integrations
• Implement solutions leveraging existing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for environment automation (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, or Nerdio automation scripting)
• Monitor, analyze, and improve system performance, availability, and security posture across environments
• Deploy and enforce group policies, security baselines, and compliance configurations
• Develop and maintain standardized operational documentation, runbooks, and support playbooks
• Collaborate with internal architects and client stakeholders to ensure platform integrity and alignment with SLAs
• Participate in DR planning, testing, and execution for hosted EUC environments
• Respond to escalated tickets and serve as a technical escalation point for L1 / L2 support teams
• Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and technicians
