Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage firewalls and network security appliances to safeguard organizational data.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Maintain firewall rules, update configurations and perform firmware / software upgrades.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and resolve security issues as related to firewall infrastructure.
• Lead the response to security incidents involving firewall breaches or other network-based attacks, isolating affected systems and restoring normal operations.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Stay updated with evolving security threats, trends, and firewall technologies.
• Educate and guide junior team members in firewall management best practices
