About this Role :

We're seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team at Fam. In this role, you'll own the design, development, operational excellence, and quality assurance of the underlying infrastructure and developer platforms that power our product teams.

You'll drive scalability, reliability, automation, and testing standards across our cloud infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines, internal tooling, and developer workflows. This role requires strong technical leadership combined with people management skills to build a robust platform engineering function that enables rapid, secure, and high-quality product innovation.

On the Job

• Lead and manage a team of 6-8 platform engineers focused on building scalable infrastructure, automation tools, internal platforms, and testing frameworks.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of platform initiatives including cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, CI / CD pipeline enhancements, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) automation, and platform testing strategies.
• Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure management, deployment processes, automated testing, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering teams, security, and IT to align platform capabilities and quality standards with business needs and growth plans.
• Drive improvements in system reliability, performance, testing coverage, and developer productivity through automation and tooling.
• Identify bottlenecks in platform operations, development workflows, and testing processes champion process improvements and technology upgrades.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, high-quality engineering, and innovation within the platform team.
