Role Overview :

As a Backend Python Developer at VectorStack, youll be part of a core engineering team building APIs, backend services, and scalable data systems. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend solutions that power products and client projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python (Flask & FastAPI).
• Design and implement CRUD operations across databases (MongoDB, SQL, etc.).
• Develop and maintain data schemas, indexes, and relationships.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and validation in APIs.
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and latency.
• Integrate with internal / external services, handling authentication, caching, and rate limiting.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor backend services on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and conduct code reviews.
• Maintain API documentation, data models, and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and mentor junior engineers.
