About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with 36 years of experience, who has hands-on expertise in building scalable backend services using FastAPI.

As part of our backend engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance APIs and services.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI)
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Integrate with databases (SQL / NoSQL) and third-party services
Ensure the best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve development processes

Key Requirements :

3-6 years of experience in backend development

Strong proficiency in Python, with at least 12 years of hands-on experience in FastAPI

Experience with RESTful API design and development

Good understanding of asynchronous programming in Python

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)

Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Knowledge of Docker, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus

Strong debugging and performance tuning skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
