We are seeking an experienced SDET Core Java Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing automated test scripts using Java.
Collaborating with development teams to understand application features and requirements.
Implementing testing strategies to ensure software quality and performance.
Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on testability and quality.
Executing automated tests and analyzing results to identify defects.
Maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
Reporting and tracking defects using defect management tools.
Continuously improving the automation process and toolsets.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in software development and testing with a focus on automation.

Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.

Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) practices and tools like Jenkins or Git.

Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN.

Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
