Role Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and target-driven General Manager – Business Development to lead and scale our B2B sales vertical across higher education institutions and corporate training sectors. The ideal candidate will be a senior professional with strong networks, proven results in institutional sales, and a deep understanding of EdTech products, certification programs, and learning transformation models.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing partnerships with universities, colleges, and corporates across India and South Asia.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to promote QualityNZ’s education portfolio (certifications, degree pathways, LMS, AI bots, virtual labs, etc.).
• Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including pitching, proposal development, pricing, contract negotiation, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with internal product, academic, and operations teams to tailor solutions for clients.
• Manage a team of regional business development professionals and set KPIs aligned with growth targets.
• Represent the company at education summits, corporate HR conclaves, expos, and government meetings.
• Report directly to the CEO and present quarterly growth roadmaps and revenue projections.
