About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer (SDE 2 / 3)+ Instructor with strong System Design expertise who is passionate about building robust backend systems and mentoring the next generation of engineers. This role combines hands-on backend development with teaching, curriculum development, and student mentorship.

This is a full-time on-site academic position at Newton School of Technology / Rishihood University, Sonipat. Please do not apply for only Developer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Backend Engineering courses to B.Tech Computer Science students, including : Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, and Database Systems (SQL / NoSQL).
• Deliver structured lectures, tutorials, hands-on labs, and project-based assessments.
• Teach and guide students in High-Level and Low-Level System Design concepts and scalable architecture fundamentals.
• Mentor students through capstone projects, debugging practices, architectural reasoning, and technical reviews.
• Lead and coordinate an academic team responsible for labs, tutorials, grading, and student support.
• Design, update, and maintain academic course materials, project frameworks, assignments, and evaluation rubrics aligned with program learning outcomes.
• Ensure academic quality, student progress tracking, and adherence to academic standards.
• Collaborate with internal academic leadership and external experts to continuously enhance course effectiveness.
