Position Overview :
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) for British Literature will develop comprehensive lesson plans and instructional material for Semester B of the US curriculum. This role requires a deep understanding of British literary works, educational standards, and effective teaching strategies to engage students and facilitate learning.

- Modernism (Early 20th century)
Key Responsibilities :
Subject Matter Expertise :
Conduct thorough research on British Literature, including key texts, authors, and historical contexts.Stay updated on educational trends and best practices in literature instruction.Instructional Design and Development :
Create detailed lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure student understanding and engagement.Design supplementary materials, such as multimedia resources and reading guides, to enhance the learning experience.Collaboration and Feedback :
Work closely with curriculum developers, educators, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with educational goals.Incorporate feedback from peer reviews and pilot testing to refine lesson plans and instructional materials.Participate in virtual collaboration sessions with the LearningMate team to discuss progress and share insights.Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for literature.Strong knowledge of British Literature and its significance within the educational context.Must be comfortable working with AI Tools, and should be open to work on Articulate Rise (training will be provided).Experience teaching British Literature at the high school or college level.Preferred :
Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field.Familiarity with digital learning platforms and instructional technology.Skills and Attributes :
