Rooftop Solar Project Engineer Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution : Coordinate and manage all stages of rooftop solar projects from site survey to commissioning.
• Site Assessment : Conduct technical site surveys, assess structural and electrical feasibility, and prepare project layouts.
• Design & Layout : Prepare single-line diagrams, module layouts, and cable routing plans.
• Equipment Selection : Specify and select appropriate solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical components.
• Coordination with Stakeholders : Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Installation Supervision : Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical installation works ensuring quality standards are met.
• Testing & Commissioning : Conduct pre-commissioning tests, performance verification, and ensure smooth handover to O&M teams.
• Compliance & Safety : Ensure projects comply with local regulations, electrical standards, and safety norms.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation for clients and internal records.
• Troubleshooting & Support : Resolve technical issues during installation, commissioning, and initial operation phases.
• Client Training : Provide handover support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
