Located in Punjab's Mansa district, Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd. (TSPL) represents the largest private thermal power facility in North India, with an installed capacity of 1980 MW, contributing nearly 30% of the state's electricity demand. Meenakshi Energy Ltd. (MEL) in Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district has a capacity of 1000 MW, while Vedanta Ltd. Chhattisgarh Thermal Power Plant (VLCTPP) in Singhitarai village, Sakti district, is a 1200 MW coal-based thermal power plant. Together, these plants reflect Vedanta Power's commitment to powering progress through high-performance assets and regional impact.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensuring effective and proactive maintenance interventions for equipment of Coal Handling Plant
• Prepare robust maintenance plan and ensure optimum availability of equipment
• Drawing the plan and strategy, in collaboration with O&M partner, to ensure efficient, cost effective, safe and reliable maintenance of plant equipment's leading to maximum availability.
• Awareness and Implementation as per AO and QMS Framework on site
• Ensuring highest standards of HSE systems and reviewing and incorporating best practices by driving HSE team through continuous benchmarking.
• Understanding of equipment criticality risk matrix
• Drive and build a culture of benchmarking with the best operating power plants and institutionalize best practices
