Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Architect, implement, and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments for scalable and reliable operations.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Manage cloud networking, security policies, IAM roles, and firewall configurations.
  • Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GoCD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Write automation scripts in Python or shell to streamline deployment and monitoring processes.
  • Lead or support cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or other cloud environments to GCP.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional global teams to ensure DevOps best practices are embedded into SDLC.
  • Ensure 24x7 uptime, reliability, performance, and security for production environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and follow Agile development methodologies.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools.
  • Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Proficient in CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GoCD), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, firewall rules, IAM, and GCP security practices.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis.
  • Exposure to cloud migration strategies and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    • Good to Have :

  • GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect).
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver)
