Senior Accountant / VP of Finance (Temporary, Full-Time | Remote)

Venture Capital Firm | US Time Zone (6pm-3am IST) | Big 4 Preferred

We are a venture capital firm  hiring a  Senior Accountant / VP of Finance  on a temporary full-time remote basis, with strong potential to extend. You will report directly to the Director and lead  month-end close, reconciliations, audit support, cross-border payments, and financial reporting .

Key Responsibilities

• Own  month-end close , accruals, reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and reporting.
• Serve as  primary audit liaison ; maintain audit-ready schedules and controls.
• Reconcile  Suspense / Clearing accounts  and implement preventive control policies.
• Oversee  cross-border payments , tax treatment, and documentation for VC operations.
• Manage workflows in  NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERPs ; build and improve finance processes.
